Sixteenth Week of School

This week has dawned with the unfortunate occurance of a deep-voiced teacher who can no longer sing with the sopranos, altos, or even tenors, for that matter.  She will have to be assigned to the basses.  But that does not mean, however, that you are exempt from posting your word before we scatter in two days for Christmas break.

Twelfth Week of School

What a brobdingnagian week!  We are officialy through the first trimester of school, which means we only have twenty-four more weeks to go!  And what is more, next week is Thanksgiving--anyone who posts a comment during their most relaxing vacation will receive extra credit, and most importantly, brownie points with Mrs. Gibbs! 

Eleventh Week of School

Never stop scribbling scrumptious words.  Instead, always smile and slip your pencil across the smooth papers and slide your soft fingers across the keys of the computers as you search for and stumble upon syllabled lumps of words and slyly slip them into silly sentences.

Tenth Week of School

After  bloating hundreds of bubbles,

to blithely post your most book-wormish  blurbs.

Third Week of School

Last week, Mrs. Gibbs felt great exhilaration when she saw the astounding words that her students pensively considered throughout the week.  She looks forward to the flourishes they will add over the next few days.

Second Week of School

Mrs. Gibbs loves words.  In fact, she loves words so much that she wants her students to love them too.  And she wants them to love good words--wonderful words that make them want to jump, giggle, roll on the floor, and use them in sentences.  She wonders which words her perspicacious students will choose to share with her this week... and she tries to wait with imperturbability, but to no avail.
